1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Dude.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

Dude.com is a faith-based AI platform. Your crew is powered by artificial intelligence. They are not human. They cannot provide professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Conversations should not be used as a substitute for professional help.

3. Age Requirements

Users aged 13-17 may use AI features with parental consent. Community features (Prayer Wall, future social features) require age 14+ and may require government ID verification. Users under 13 are prohibited.

4. Zero Tolerance Policy

We have zero tolerance for predatory behavior, child exploitation, grooming, harassment, or abuse. All conversations are monitored by AI for safety. Violations result in:

• Immediate and permanent account ban
• IP address and device fingerprint logging
• GPS location capture when available
• Preservation of all conversation logs as evidence
• Reporting to appropriate authorities as required by law
• Notification to the target's emergency contacts when applicable

4a. VPN & Proxy Prohibition

For security purposes, VPN and proxy connections may be restricted. This helps us maintain a safe environment for all users.

4b. GPS & Location Tracking Policy

Your GPS location is not tracked during normal use. IP addresses may be logged for security and safety purposes. We do not sell or share your location data. Your privacy matters to us.

5. Contact Information Policy

Users may NOT share personal contact information with other users through any platform feature. This includes phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, social media handles, and external URLs. All user-generated content is screened by AI and contact information is automatically stripped. This policy exists to protect all users, especially minors.

6. AI Limitations

Your crew may occasionally produce inaccurate information. They are not professionals and their advice should not replace medical, legal, financial, or psychological professional guidance. In emergencies, always call 911 or your local emergency number.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Free accounts have usage limits but can browse and preview all Pro features. Pro and Family subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time through your Profile → Subscription → "Manage Subscription / Cancel." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. No cancellation fees, no phone calls required. Refund requests within 7 days of purchase can be made by emailing [email protected]. All prices are in USD.

7a. Anonymous Identity (DudeTag)

Every user is assigned an anonymous DudeTag (e.g. Dude4821) at signup. This is your public identity in all community features including forums, prayer wall, and any user-visible area. Your real name, username, email, and personal details are never revealed to other users. Only your AI crew knows your real identity. DudeTags cannot be changed by users.

8. Content & Conduct

You agree not to: use the platform for illegal activity, attempt to bypass safety systems, share explicit or harmful content, impersonate others, or use automated tools to access the platform. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

Dude.com, its avatar characters, branding, and technology are the property of Dude.com. User-generated content (conversations, prayers, journal entries) remains the user's property but we retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our services.

10. Limitation of Liability

Dude.com is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the platform, including reliance on AI-generated advice. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Carson City, Nevada.

12. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated via email.

1. What We Collect

Account info: Name, email, password (hashed), age range, chosen avatar.
Conversation data: Messages between you and your AI friends. These are stored to maintain your crew member's memory and improve your experience.
Usage data: Feature usage, login times, device type. Used for platform improvement only.
Location data: GPS coordinates, only when you enable location features (SOS, weather, local events). Never sold or shared.
Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.
Camera data: Photos shared with AI friends are processed in real-time and not permanently stored on our servers.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect or sell: browsing history outside our platform, contacts from your phone, third-party app data, biometric data (beyond optional KYC), or any data for advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the AI friend experience
• To maintain your crew member's memory of you
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send account-related emails (welcome, password reset)
• To enforce our Zero Tolerance safety policies
• To comply with legal obligations and law enforcement requests

4. Who We Share With

We never sell your data. Period.
We share data only with:
• AI providers to process your conversations. Messages are sent without your name or email.
• Stripe for payment processing
• Law enforcement when required by law or when predatory/criminal behavior is detected
• Fish Audio for voice generation (text only, no personal data)

5. Safety Monitoring

All conversations are monitored by AI for safety purposes including detection of: predatory behavior, grooming, exploitation, self-harm signals, and illegal activity. This monitoring is automated and no human reads your conversations unless a safety concern is flagged for review. Flagged content may be reported to appropriate authorities as required by law.

GPS Tracking Clarification: Device GPS coordinates are only captured and logged when a safety flag is triggered (predatory behavior detected). During normal everyday use, your location data is used only for weather and emergency SOS features and is not stored on our servers or shared with any third party. We do not track your location during normal use. We track threats.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use secure tokens. We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, export your data, and opt out of non-essential emails. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

8. Children's Privacy

Users aged 13-17 have additional protections: restricted community access, enhanced content filtering, no camera sharing with other users, and age-appropriate AI responses. Users under 13 are not permitted. We comply with COPPA requirements.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your preferences, conversation history, and session data. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We do not display ads from third-party networks.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
